If you drive to, say, Olympic National park, or the Great Smoky Mountains, you’ll get some appreciation for the scale and beauty of the outdoors. When you walk into it, then you see it in a completely different way. You discover it in a much slower, more majestic sort of way. Rich native cultures have inhabited this land for thousands of years. The Park ambles along old-growth giant forests of fir, hemlock and cedar, carpeted with bead-lilies, sandy beaches, fields of wildflowers and bubbling springs.
One of the largest, most remote, and least-developed protected areas in the United States, Olympic National Park preserves 922,651 acres of the peninsula's magnificent, mountainous interior and wave-stung shoreline. Olympic National Park covers a huge swath of Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula, encompassing rugged coastline, towering mountain ranges, temperate rain forests, and wildflower-filled lowland meadows.Olympic National park preserves the Olympic Mountains and their magnificent forests and wildlife. The Allround center of park consists of two immensible sections which are the mountains and a narrow strip of Pacific shoreline more than 60 miles long along the west coast of the peninsula. Active glaciers are found on the highest peak, Mount Olympus and on others. In all, there are some 250 glaciers in the park, although most are small and localized. The ocean shore section contains scenic beaches, islets, and points. Home to some of the biggest stretches of old-growth forest remaining in the US, this misty Pacific Northwest park is the ultimate outdoor escape. The peak ever park is situated at the northeastern side of peninsula at port Angeles road at a biggest city of Washington in United States Of America.

You can endevour the most unseen creatures that feast your eyes and you can experience the twist and turns in each our steps that may our way into the forest. There are several nature trails that interpret the interesting features of the temperate rain forest. The woods here are different then any place we have been. They take you back in time. During the drive thru this forest you can some trees which had some kinda hairy looking moss stuff on them which makes the trees look scary but still beautiful!
The forests will make you feel special and you're hiking through a fairytale setting in Middle Earth. The longest route extending from the HOH Rain Forest Visitor Center, the Hoh River Trail is 17 miles long leading to the terminal moraine of the Blue Glacier of Mount Olympus. One of the best hiking trails in the region is the 16-mile Queets River Trail, with other more strenuous trails crossing the entire park. The first good view of the river comes around 1 mile, although you'll likely have heard the rush of its waters over the birdsong much earlier.
This well groomed, easy trail ascends the lush river valley along the north bank of the braided HOH River. The heavily wooded and mossy trail is mostly flat with only a few gentle undulations. The number of other users drops off after the first few miles, even though this is one of the most heavily used trails in the park. Two hundred years from now, big trees will once again thrive, along with the local communities that will be the stewards of this treasured valley. The HOH forest keep this property open to outdoor recreation such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and bird-watching access. You can see the utmost blue colour of the lake due to its presence of nitrogen which gives a cool feeling at the moment of the sight. The crist and clean keeps the fishes as fresh and heavenly breathing. We keep this property open to outdoor recreation such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and bird-watching access.
Even in the hottest summer the lake is quite chill. There are numerous pull-overs where you can stop and take pictures. Nestled in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains, Lake Crescent lies about 18 miles west of Port Angeles. There are plenty of picnic areas around the lake. Fairholme, Bovee's Meadow, La Poel, and the North Shore all have tables. Enjoy the cold but exquisite waters. There are several picnic areas around the lake, with picnic tables, fire pits, and beach access. Boat launches are located at both east and west ends of the lake, and rowboats are available for rental from Lake Crescent Lodge.
The main pool is a rectangular-shaped pool, measuring 25 metres by 11.7 metres, with the depth ranging from 1 metre to 3.7 metres. There is a 1-metre and a 3-metre diving board in the deep end of the pool. The lake water is cold, but nowhere near as cold as the Pacific, and it is pure and pristine. Lake Crescent has two many minerals that you the feel slick after swimming.
Hurricane Ridge :
Sunshine is delicous, rain is refreshing, wind braces up us, snow is exhilarating; there is no such bad weather the only different kinds of good weather.
The door to the longest way of treak is located in Washington, The Hurricane Ridge Road climb is 29 km long. There is good parking and facilities at the lower ranger station just on the edge of Port Angeles at the start of the climb, and also at the top. The first few miles are the steepest and the pavement is rough and momentum sucking. It is one of the highest elevation road and is narrow with steep drop-offs in places. The road is slightly hidden because of a dip from the parking lot down to the road so it's easy to miss if you don't know it's there. The Hurricane Ridge Road in Washington is open 24 hours a day from mid-May into October. The views are spectacular and easy to experience. May me warn you that the drive from Port Angeles to Hurricane Ridge can be sketchy at times.
Despite the weather, you can spent several hours hiking and exploring the local wild flowers. You can also met several other hikers on the trail who reminded us that the ridge is named Hurricane Ridge for an amazing compny as a reason. There are several trails for all levels of explorers. I believe that each one of us come from the trailing wisps of glory , according to it trailing gives you the best of the best that you cannot erase it of from your joyful memories.You will loving about the unlimited boundful souls around which means mesmerizing air, lush full greenery bushes, the path of road where you can forget these busy roads full of traffic and you can enter into a new world where you can leave it back.
