Ziro is a census town in lower subansiri district in the Indian state of Arunachala pradesh. Ziro is around  115 km from the capital Itanagar and takes approx 3 and half hours via the improved HOJ-POTIN road along NH 229 and 150 km via the Assam route. Earlier the nearest railway station from Ziro was located at Nahariagun in Arunachala pradesh near the Arunachala-Assam border which is around 100 km from Ziro. The nearest airport to the settlement is Lilabari, in north Lakhimpur district of Assam.

               Dolo Mando is a beautiful hillock located on the western side of the village of Ziro. From the hill top, one can see the spectacular view of the old Ziro and Hapoli town. Dolo Mando is also an awesome place for the trekkers as trekking across the hill would be an exciting opportunites for them. Trekking on the hill would be exciting if you are looking to give ourself some exercise.

                       Dolo Mando is a romantic point, hillock that symbols the love affair of Dolo and Mando. The trek to the point is really exciting and one view the Hapoli town from one side of the peak and the old Ziro from the other side. Dolo Mando is considered as very calm and peaceful area in Ziro. Dolo Mande is located about 10 km away from Hapoli town on the Western side of Ziro on the Daporijo road. The month of spring between February and April, the sky remains clear and gets the best view during the period. Trekking is the only way to explore the beautiful region of Ziro.
