1. Haew Narok Waterfall :

Haew narok Waterfall is not the gentle sort of waterfall you might see in a stately home garden, it was the kind where torrents of water are poured over rocks hard enough to crack your skull and mash your brains on the way down, then swirl in a plunge pool below deep enough to drown you if you survived the fall. From the bottom it was awe inspiring, from the top it was brutal and terrifying. The waterfall is about 600 m down a trail that takes you through rain forest.
It was a war between the waterfall and the water bed, attacking one another with all their might. If you visit the place in a rainy season, there is plenty of water splashing and hitting sunlight, contributing a stunning scenery of rainbow. Almost as if each drop of water was competing in a race to get there first or to make the loudest sound, as it was the only thing any of us could hear. Haew Narok Waterfall is in Khao Yai National Park, Thailand. It is located in the south side of the park in the area of Prachin Buri Province. The waterfall consist of 3 levels: the first level is a steep cliff 50 meters high. The 2nd and 3rd levels are quite dangerous and not open to the public. Standing at the nearby hills allows you to view at least one of the waterfall's multiple drops.
